What is it like to be a child with a disability? For many children with special needs, it’s lonely. Very lonely.

The Friendship Circle is changing this reality.

The Friendship Circle's unique approach brings together teenage volunteers and children with special needs for hours of fun and friendship. These shared experiences empower the children, our special friends, while enriching the lives of everyone involved.

Our special friends
blossom and gain the confidence they need to make the most of their abilities and talents.

The Friendship Circle touches so many in our community, linking volunteers, children, parents, staff, and supporters in a seamless circle of friendship that makes miracles happen every day.

The child with special needs looks forward to a weekly visit and the opportunity to play with and learn from their older friends.

The teenage volunteer learns the priceless value of giving, the curative power of friendship and cherishes the experience of making a difference in a child's life and bringing a smile to his or her face.

Their parents and siblings receive much-needed respite and support from the Friendship Circle community, and all those who assist us.

Together we are impacting our future by making a difference in the lives of children and teens in our community and helping them form a special bond.
